Get to know Rochelle Courtenay:

I am the Founder and Managing Director of Share the Dignity. I started Share the Dignity in 2015 after reading a Mamamia article about the difficulty homeless women face in managing their period. I was a personal trainer at the time and asked my clients to bring me pads for every glass of wine they drank that month. I collected 450 packs. Share the Dignity aims to ensure that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted. With the help of over 6000 volunteers we bring dignity to those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or doing it tough through the distribution of period products.
